Be part of the flavor and fun at Penn Cove Musselfest 2026 — celebrating 40 years of Mussel Magic! We’re looking for talented chefs to showcase their skills in our Chef Demonstrations and the lively Mussel Tussle cooking competition. This is your chance to shine in front of thousands of seafood-loving festival-goers, promote your restaurant, and celebrate the bounty of Penn Cove mussels in true Coupeville style. Join us for this milestone year and make your mark on one of the Northwest’s most beloved food festivals!

Chef Demos are held throughout the weekend and feature regional culinary talent preparing creative, crowd-pleasing mussel dishes. Selected chefs receive a $250 participation stipend, and accommodations are available for out-of-town chefs. Space is limited—participants are chosen based on creativity, presentation, and community spirit. To Apply for the Mussel Tussle

Step into the spotlight for the Mussel Tussle, our friendly, fast-paced cooking competition held Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 PM. Competing chefs create their best mussel dish in front of a live audience and panel of judges—bragging rights and the Mussel Tussle Champion title are on the line! Selected chefs receive a $250 participation stipend, and accommodations are available for out-of-town chefs.
